I don't think you can run Windows 8 on your system.
What Microsoft say are the minimum requirements for a system to run Windows 8 can be found here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-8/system-requirements
First, the processor needs to have certain features - SSE2, NX and PAE which I don't think the Sempron 3000+ has; and you be able to run only the 32-bit version if could run that because you don't have enough RAM, and your processor is a 32-bit processor.
Secondly, the 9250 isn't up to it. It doesn't have WDDM drivers, because it's not a true Direct 9X graphics card; it not being a DirectX 9 card is enough to preclude from running Windows 6 anyway.
Your processor, RAM and graphics card might be upgradeable to be able to support a 32-bit version of W8, but that may be more expensive than buying a (new) W8 computer anyway.
Anyway that's what my brief study of the topic has lead me to believe. It's a no.
Certain video cards are only compatible with certain processors on motherboards. AMD CPUs work with Nvidia and Intel CPUs work with certain graphics cards also. Are you sure it's even compatible?
Could be a bit issue, as window 7 sometime doesn't reconize a 64bit cpu if you install a 32bit operating system. What version of windows 7 are you using, home, basic, ultimate??? Some version will reconize it such as ultimate, and professional since they have xp installed on it. Most likely it's a bit issue since the athlon x2 are old model and with windows 7 32bit, it didn't reconize it, if you are installing the 32bit system.... microsoft is just trying to make money by issuing 1 key for 1 computer, and if you are resintalling the os, with a new hardware installed also, then it could also fail because the first time you install windows 7 with the hardware, the hardware is also registered to windows and furhter down the road if you try to install windows 7 with a new hardware, it wouldn't let you, or would crash.
Windows 7 is designed for latest and improved hardware. You are using an old system which was shipped with XP Operating System. If you are using a retail version on your System, then you will face the driver/device compatibility issues.
Co-processor driver error in the Device Manager is for the Chipset or Video driver which was not installed in the System properly.
It is really not possible to get Windows 7 Chipset driver for this Model. However, you can try.....
Connect to Internet
Right click on Co-Processor and select Properties
Go to Drivers tab and select Update driver...
Check if it can search online and download the required driver
Hello my friend, this is could happen because of driver problem or and more common operating system failure.Try to reinstall the windows again but i recommend you to make a clean install (format hard drive and install the new windows)
You need the manual to your motherboard to set it up in the BIOS.

In the drop down menu select M7NCD ULTRA.
