Manual transmissions don't have a dipstick only automatics you check by fill hole on side of transmission. assuming you are talking about trans dipstick and not eng. oil. dipstick.

Where can I find the the automatic transmission fluid filler on a 2006 1.4 Honda Jazz and how do I drain off the existing fluid?

If it has a dip stick to check the level it will be around the transmission end of the engine .Accredited auto transmission shops have a suction pump and hose that fits down the dip stick hole to draw out excess oil . Find an accredited transmission shop with experience in your make of car and talk with them to get some idea of what is involved.

How do I check the automatic transmission fluid level in my 1989 Honda Civic DX?

Well it depends if it is an automatic or a manual, if it is an automatic the there is a dip stick under the hood where you can check it just make sure the car is running when you check it. And if it is a manual, then there is a bolt on the back of the transmission, but not on the bottom. It's about halfway up the backside of the transmission, and it should be a 9/16 size bolt. You have to take off the bolt and stick your finger in there and if you feel fluid in there then it's good, but if you can't feel any then you need to add some in the same hole until fluid comes out of the hole. And if you need fluid then you will need to buy a little hand pump like thing that will just thread onto the transmission oil you buy and it will have a clear hose on the pump and you'll just put the pump on the fluid container and put the hose in the hole and pump it in till it comes back out.

Transmission dipstick location

the dip stick is located in engine compartment if you stand in front of car with hood open the dip stick is to your left on side of trany, if this car is stick shift and not automatic then theres no dip stick its checked from side of trany by removing a plug and fill until oil runs out a little a lift would be the way to check it, the car must be level
NOTE; some models have a tube with dip stick and some a cap that unscrews on top of trany and when checking fluid you dont screw in just stick in hole to check level when done then screw back in and tighten, heres a diagram to help you find it.c083006.gif

Could you tell me where to put the transmission fluid in a 1988 honda accord dx. I can't seem too find it.

If there is a dip stick to show you the level of the fluid in the transmission, the transmission fluid is added through the dip stick tube. With the dip stick out, place a funnel in the tube opening and pour the fluid into the funnel.

We have charged the battery but it won't move when I've put it in gear.

It's a short dipstick, located at the front of the engine compartment, very low, towards the bottom of the radiator.
