How do I remove a bathrub/shower pullout faucet handle?

What is the brand of faucet? Faucets are designed so that you do not see the set screw. On the underside of the handle, you may see or feel a small, rubber plug button. I typically use the tip of my razor knife to gently remove the plug button. Once removed, you should gain access to a set screw.

If you have an older style, you may have a plastic handle. If this is the case, on the face of the handle, you should notice a line of separation between the handle and cover plate. Again, I typically use a razor knife to gently pry the cover plate from the handle. On the backside of the cover plate, you will typically find a Phillips screw that holds the handle in place.

I too have a Belanger tub and shower set and the taps have no screws under the caps or hex keys around the sides for removal.

How do you remove a shower faucet faceplate that does not have a screw. No idea who the manufacturer is.

remove the handle,, there should be a small hex head that you need to remove, once thats done, the flange right behind the handle can be unscrewed which holds up the faceplate ( some flanges cover screws to do this, others Just unscrew since your not sure of the model,, thats a good start to your problem

Two faucet shower control hot water faucet leaks- I took of the cap, handle, and unscrewed the long screw and there was a long white place stem. Is this where the seal goes.

You will need to remove the cartridge that the screw was attached to and underneath there is a rubber cup washer with a small cone shaped spring. You need to replace the rubber washer which is called a seat and the spring ,then put cartridge and handle back on and you should be good to go. Thank you.

We cannot get the handle off the tub/shower faucet

Look for a small little hole on the handle. I think you will need an Allen wrench that size that will turn the screw and remove the handle.

How do you tighten or remove handle on a danze shower faucet

Not to familar with faucet itself, but on most shower faucet's, there is a screw that holds it on. Most of the time there is a plastic face plate on the front of the handles, you pop that off and the screw is beneath, as you loosen you have to hold the handle in place, otherwise as you loosen the screw it will turn the water on.

Other fauet handles will have a set screw , usually on the bottom side of the handle body,( the part of the handle closest to the shower wall, either a small flat head or allen wrech should be all you need. good luck.

How do I remove the handle to an older american standard single handle shower faucet There are two small holes on the ring of the handle when you remove the plastic insert. Can't see a model no.

You need to remove the plug on the handle itself, and there will be a screw underneath it. With this screw removed you will be able to remove the handle. Hope this helps

No hot water.

remove handle (screw driver) then remove plate (same tool). just inside the valve is a small round bit of plastic with little teeth on it. this the temp control. remove this by popping it out and turn it about a quarter turn clockwise. this will allow the handle to turn more into the hot zone.
