Ink low, dodgy ink, or head is wearing, blocked and cant get enough ink to paper, try with manufactures ink, but more than likly the head is block no easy fix, normally a write off, once in a blue moon after much effort one can clean the print head, total sttrip down and windex or metho the print head once removed but be prepaired to work on it for 1/2 a day, get covered in ink, with a good chance of getting nowhere...I'd try fresh ink then I'd quote you more than its cost..labour intesive..sorry

Printer is only half printing doc on each line, have done test page, very faint, aligned ink, clean cartridges, all with top v faint and bottom dark ink, new cartridge last fri and was working well,...

Open the rear of the printer and make sure theres no paper jam or broken parts.

Try printing a document with the rear of the printer open and watch to see if anything out of the ordinary happens.

My printer only prints the top half of a page clearly. The bottom half is feint and blurry or missing altogether.

Your inks are gradually drying out. You should have them refilled or replaced. When inks begin to finish up in the cartridge, each time you print, part of ink that has settled at the bottom prints, and if the the material you are printing is sizable the bottom part will come out faint or faded out.

Good luck & God bless!

Alternate lines are not printing fully - bottom half of line is faint

Hi, this issue occurs while printing because the print head is blocked. To solve this problem, run a cleaning cycle on the printer. The printer’s manual will contain relevant information about this.

Faint & White Lines in Printer Head Alignment

This sounds like you are using either a refilled cartridge or an after market cartridge and the ink is clogging the print nozzle. To clear the problem you need to insert an OEM cartridge, run the deep nozzle cleaning utiliity, alignment utility. This should clear up the problem with the spotty printout.
Let me know if this solves your problem otherwise we can explore other solutiions.

My dymo starting printing only the bottom half of my labels, do i just need a new ink cartridge or is this a different problem? the bottom half seems just fine...

Take out tape cartridge, make sure tape is going THROUGH both top and bottom tape guides. Clear all.
This should work. You also may have set up for second line printing. Go through all settings and clear.

Vertical lines

1st print a report, can you see the lines? Then either the drum is faulty or the laser scanner is. If the lines are not present when printing a report, make a copy and see then if the lines appear. If so, the scanner is faulty. Try cleaning the glass with glass cleaner. However, blank lines mean that bits are missing from the scanner itself and the scanner will need to be replaced.
