All of a sudden my English speaking answering

Press and hold the STOP/SET button for two seconds, then release to access the set-up menu.

The answering machine announces, For English, press NEXT, press SET to continue (in English). Para espanol, oprima PREVIO, oprima PROGRAMAR para continuar (in Spanish).

Press NEXT, answerer enters English voice menu mode. If PREVIOUS is pressed, answerer enters Spanish voice menu mode. If SET is pressed, answerer remains in the current language mode. In any case, the answerer enters to the TIME/DAY menu.

Press the skip button and hold for 2 seconds to toggle the language from Spanish to English. The unit will then announce "English selected".

Press and hold the SETUP/ENTER button for two seconds, then release to access the set-up menu. Press Next (>>).

Try this: Press STOP/SET button for two seconds, you should hear a announcement, now press NEXT button, if you hear something in English press STOP/SET button to set to English, after that push STOP/SET over and over to get past the rest of the options.

I have had this same problem, for about the same amount of time... I cant stand it!! Okay, here is the solution.. Press and hold the Skip button, on the base of the answering machine, for two seconds.. TA DAH!! all better. lol...

1, Ensure that the telephone is not in use.
2. Press and hold the skip button on the base to select another language.

Press and hold the "Skip" button. I did this while the answer machine was ON. The english voice will say that the language has changed to english.

Just as the other answers that were left...you just have to press the skip button. Just make sure that you press announce on the cradle...not on the phone...then when you hear the voice in Spanish just press and HOLD the skip button until it changes to English. Good Luck
