cannot seem to find any satellities on th 660. this happened 01/05 like 2 others same prolbem. started doing this on 01/02 but went away after relocating in the windshield, thought it was dirt on the windshield or positioning but yesterday it just stoped. tried taking the antennea cover off need special tool, but couldn't get into the main case. don't advise this unless you have some documetion on the device. pain in the but to get back together. Device was a year old past christmas, been rained on and droped from moving bike twice but worked flawlesy for the next 4 to 5 months.cannot seem to find any satellities on th 660. this happened 01/05 like 2 others same prolbem. started doing this on 01/02 but went away after relocating in the windshield, thought it was dirt on the windshield or positioning but yesterday it just stoped. tried taking the antennea cover off need special tool, but couldn't get into the main case. don't advise this unless you have some documetion on the device. pain in the but to get back together. 2/20/2008 have same problem, just quit working with the same questions. Tried external antenna, works fine. So, it must be a poor design of the antenna cable from the antenna thru the flipup antenna's hinge. Similar to some laptops where screen dies..... 2/20/2008 have same problem, just quit working with the same questions. Tried external antenna, works fine. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Peter- Look at the top of your screen. You should see the Dragon command bar. Click on "mode" and select "dictation". Talk in a normal tone and pace and use commands such as "open quotes" and "close quotes". This should help with your issues.

When travelling with your GPS it may take 20-30 minutes for it to acquire a satellite signal. For it to acquire the signal it should be stationary so when visiting the family or in the hotel leave it on you should get satellite lock.
You lost your navigation tool bar. Not to worry. open the firefox. Click view (3 rd button on the second line at the top). Then Click on toolbars. On the pop out that opens on the side, click on the Navigation tool bar, and you will see a tick mark appear on the left hand side. You will now have your address bar, forward, back etc.as earlier.

T30 defaults to an opening display screen based on where you were when you last used the device. When leaving from the record folder and record mode, you will always open with the record-ready screen. If you left your T30 while in the music folder playing a music file, you will be returned to that.
This record-ready display screen has a numeric and bar time line. The numeric values of the line are in hrs:min:seconds. This line is also split: the right half of the line indicates the total amount of available recording time, while the left half indicates your time as you record. If you compare the values of the right and left sides of the numeric bar while you are recording, you will see that the right side is diminishing as the left side increases in numeric value. When you complete your recording and save your track, the right side will now indicate the new total time (the amount your screen first displayed LESS the time value of the track just recorded).
When you are playing a music file, if you watch the time display, you will see the numeric information changing in the same way. The left side indicates how may hrs:min:seconds your track has played while the right side indicates the total time value for that file and will be correspondingly decreasing while you play your music file.
So in the short, you don't need to worry much about your display screen unless you open in the wrong folder or you need more recording time than is available. Then it has a message for you.
I had the same horizontal, solid red bar along the top of the tv
screen. I have an older analog Philips Magnavox TP2785C221. It just
started all of a sudden. It was on every channel. However, the bar
did not appear on the other input channels (e.g., AV1, AV2). So this
meant that the red bar was only occurring on the antenna input. I
unplugged my cable decoder box and restarted it. The red bar went away
and that seemed to solve the problem for now.
Hope you have fixed this problem by now, if that tv is unserviced, I mean if nobody has ever opened it, it could be a problem with the positioning of your tv, just tilt the tv in different positions and find out the position in which it will show the right fit. If it is serviced, especially yoke is changed, this is rare, it could be because the position of yoke is not aligned properly.
I have the EXACT same problem and I need to find a resolution to this . it doesnt see the satellites!
maybe a disconnected antenna in ternally?
I havent dropped it tho
