Gateway has not written a manual dedicated to this laptop but they have written generic manuals G.
The manuals can be downloaded here

- Select the Group Notebooks
- Choose series M
- Select item M-68

How to restore my Gateway model 3450 back to factory setttings without a cd

Drivers for Gateway products may be found on the Gateway Product Support. Search for the product and download the drivers.

Alternatively, the factory installed drivers and applications can be re-installed by using Gateway eRecovery by following these steps:

  1. Click Start, and then All Programs
  2. Click Gateway, and then Gateway eRecovery Management
  3. You may be prompted to enter or create a password. This password will be required to use eRecovery in the future.
  4. In the next window on the left toolbar, select Restore.
  5. Choose Reinstall Drivers or Applications
  6. Choose Contents
  7. Choose the driver or application you wish to install
  8. On the right, click the Install link and follow the prompts.
  9. The computer may restart when installation is complete. If it does not restart, manually shutdown and restart the computer.

Note: For older Gateway products, the Gateway eRecovery Management program may not be available.

If you do not have a set of Acer Recovery Media, they may be purchased from our Acer Recovery Media Order Form.

How do i turn on sound card on my laptop gateway nv52
Look in your device manager is the system for any "Unknown Device". right click it and in Properties, disable it and restart the computer. It should install itself, or if this doesn't work, try updating all the audio drivers. You'll probably need to restart it after that, too
