You need to install Uli sata drivers in order for your motherboard to recognize the harddrive and cd drive.
download the drivers here: http://www.soft32.com/download_184082.html
and put them on a cd or memory card, when the system prompts you that you have no harddrive, you can load the drivers from a memory card or cd however if you use a cd you will face other issues. then you will be able to install windows 7 ;)
I did it on my acer e500 and it runs good.
I didn't install the 64 bits version though but the 32 bits.
