I have a phillips go gear MP3 player and when i turn it on it freezes only the words www.phillips/welcome.com screens shows. how to i fix this?

Hello

Your GoGear is freezing because there is an error in the operating system and can be fixed by resetting the device. Resetting the GoGear is similar to rebooting your computer. You will not lose any of the data uploaded to the device. To reset the GoGear, press the "Reset" button located on the left of the device. The screen will go blank for a few seconds and then turn back on.

If the GoGear freezes after uploading a file to the device or if one song or sound file freezes the device each time you play it, the file is likely corrupt and needs to be removed from the GoGear. Connect the GoGear to a computer and delete the file from the device.

My mp3 player turns on and read file system error. Can I reset or fix the problem

System files might got corrupted. The best way for you to do is to reformat the MP3 Player. Hook it up on your computer's usb port. Right click your windows START button and choose Explore. It will open the windows explorer. Look for the drive letter associated with your MP3 player, right click on it and choose Format. Do a quick format and after that, you should be good.

Hope this helps you.

28@my phillips mps player is saying file systems error when i turn it on

Sounds like the firmware has been corrupted or the system files have been deleted.

Philips MP3 players come with either Philips Device Manager or other recovery software.

This enables you to repair the player if the system files are deleted.

Check out your manual for more details, or post the model number for more specific help.
