Hi. Is this to change its settings?

Plug directly in the DAP-1522.
Set your PCs network settings under TCP/IP, alternate config:
IP Address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.50

Give it a try.
Regards,

HOLY $hit !!!!! This worked!!!!

I've wasted a whole day trying to figure this out (... and I'm fairly good at computers, but this was a 8itch).

This works for Windows 7 (64-bit version, updated as of March 21, 2011).

DLink DAP-1522 Xtreme N Duo
Part Number: CAP1522ACA...A1
Hardware ver.: A1
Firmware ver.: 1.21
IP Address: 192.168.0.50

Follow the instructions mentioned above to the T.

The following information maybe long-winded but I hope some of this additional info helps others who are having a SON-OF-A-8ITCH, like I did.

I've also disabled the wireless adapter on my laptop. You don't need Wireless connection, since you will be using the network cable (mostly the BLUE cable (CAT5), maybe a different color too, still trying to look for pink, hehehe).

YES, you MUST connect your computer to the DLink DAP-1522 using the network cable. Use any port on the back of the DLink DAP-1522 and to your laptop/computer.

My Network Settings had two Internet TCP/IP Protocol's (ver4 and ver6). I made the changes to the ver4 TCP/IP Protocol (and NOT the ver6).

I also unchecked several of the other items, which only left the following CHECKED:
\' client for MS networks
\' QoS packet scheduler
\' File and printer sharing for MS networks
\' Internet protocol version 4 (TCIP/IPver4)
...... sorry for the \' above. This is my symbol for a "check mark."

NOTES:
Not sure if this matters... but these are some of the things I've also done....
- the switch on the back of my DLink DAP-1522 is set to "BRIDGE."
- I didn't need to push the button on the top of the DLink DAP-1522.
- My Windows Network connection is a "public network" (with no internet).
- Windows Firewall is ON.
- I did not flash to a newer version of Firmware (still have 1.21).

You will notice the network icon in the tray has a yellow <!> but don't worry because we know there is no Internet access, all we want is just a link connection to the DLink DAP-1522 Bridge so we can get into the web-based GUI of the DLink SAP-1522 Bridge, and play.

Once you gain access to the DLink DAP-1522 built-in Web Browser, by opening Internet Explorer and typing the address 192.168.0.50 you will be shown the Log-In page.

I am running Win7x64.

1) I connected my computer to the DAP-1522 using a cable.
2) In control panel ' network and sharing center I clicked on See full map. This displayed the DAP-1522.
3) I hovered the pointer over the DAP-1522 in the visual display. This showed the IP address of the device. It was unnecessary to copy it Instead,
4) I right-clicked and then left-clicked, and the device opened in my browser.

How can I connect to my new WiFi using my dlink dap 1320 thru my Samsung tablet, how can I reset the old one

You need to get the Wireless Range Extender to communicate with your existing router. Instructions are attached. If you have already done this, you should be able to search for WiFi connections and connect to the SSID with your password. It should be the network that has the most strength. In Canada, you can contact Dlink at (800) 361-5265. In the US, (877) 453-5465.

How can I assign IP of my access point Dlink DAP-1150 on my lap top. I want to add adapter network DAP-1150 on my pc

there are 3 ways of setting it up as an Access Point, Wireless Client, Wireless Repeater mode. Would be easier if you explain what you want to use it as?

Choose what you want to use it as, you can set it up plugged into the router or over the wireless , so just plug it into your router and follow the instructions in the manual, you will then be able to unplug it and it will automatically connect to the router over the wifi. manual can be found here ftp://ftp.dlinkla.com/pub/drivers/DAP-1150/DAP-1150_A1_Manual_1.10%28B%29.pdf

No Internet connexion between livebox 2zte and dap 1320 .

First connect to the Livebox (without the range extender) to see if you can access the internet. If you can get on the net there open your browser and type http://dlinkap.local in the address line, and set-up the d-link. the most common problem is the password on the router (the livebox).

For instructions for the D-Link go here;

Cannot connect to Dlink DAP-1513 at 192.168.0.50. Unit is plugged into home network router.

Plug a computer into the D-Link.
Under Windows 7, click the "Start" button.
Into the search-box, type 'cmd' and press ENTER.
Type 'ipconfig /all'.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway" (or the "DHCP-server").
Type that IP-address into your web-browser.

Can't configure the network with ethernet cable

Hey, you're almost there. The connection between the no-wireless PC over ethernet to the DAP-1360 Repeater is fine. The reason it can't connect to your LAN or the internet, however, is that the repeater isn't actually repeating your Ofir network, it is instead creating it's own, completely isolated wireless network (Ofir_EXT).

The D-Link setup and documentation is confusing, and doesn't have proper instructions for the repeater setup.

Rerun the setup wizard, setup as a repeater, then select manual configuration method.

Now, enter the wireless network name of your the network you want to extend (in this case, Ofir). Then enter the same security and password etc. for Ofir in the following fields, just like you were connecting to Ofir from a smartphone or laptop.
Once that is finished, you should be up and running. If things worked, you should NOT see any new wireless network. There should be Ofir and just Ofir. Wireless repeaters work invisibly, you'll still connect to the same network like you always did, but now it will have much improved range thanks to the DAP-1360. The computer entherneted to it should be networked on the wireless LAN and have internet access after this as well.

Good luck, I hope my instructions were clear. Wifi networking is easy, it's understanding all the manufacturers less-than-intuitive software that makes it hard.

Router can't detect DAP 1360 when installed about 90 meters away. UTP connectors tested okay.

have you tried turning on and off the router and AP? it would scan again...it looks like you just need to recheck connections and powers...

Dlink dap 1522

I think I was having a similar problem with my DAP-1522 ... FW Version 1.10 being used as an access point. I recently discovered that I was not able to connect to the configuration pages using a web browser by typing in it's IP address (192.168.0.50). When I originally set this up device up on my network, it worked just fine, but at some point in time, it stopped working. My solution to this problem was to set the switch on the back of the 1522 from Auto to AP, then re-boot the DAP-1522 by removing power, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging power back in. Once the AP re-booted, I was then able to access the configuration login page by typing 192.168.0.50 into my browser. My DAP-1522 access point is connected via port 1 to my D-link router, a DGL-4100, via a DGS-2208, 8 port gigabit switch. Hope this helps!
