What is the correct oil to gas ratio for an Echo ES-1000 leaf blower?

Synthetic oil can be 50:1, mineral oil is usually around 25:1. Have you checked factory web page for downloads?

50:1 is a common ratio

I don't think the oil-gas ratio will cause that problem. Did you check to see if the fuel lines or fuel filter is clogged?

50 to 1 don't use outboard 2 stroke oil. Use good oil echo, still, Husq ect.

The correct ratio for a Husqvarna 155bt is 50 parts gas to 1 part oil, using more oil or the wrong type of oil will cause more damage then good, The high quality synthetic blends of 2 cycle oil like Husqvarna and Echo oils have almost no carbon ash content in them, Carbon ash will form deadly deposits in the exhaust ports and muffler that will rob power and destroy the engine. Also make sure you never use oil marked TWC, this is for water cooled 2 cycle engines and will not transfer the heat correctly for cooling an air cooled engine

A rich mixture often causes hard starting.

My echo uses 50-1 ration. Home Depot sells the small containers for Echo Leaf Blowers that you mix with one gallon of gas.
