Loses the computer connection and just keeps searching

The computer is found, the image is displayed correctly and then about a 1/2 hour later is suddenly can't find the computer and just keeps searching. Turning the projector off and on, it finds the computer, shows the image for about a second and then searches and searches for the computer.
Restarting the computer and projector it will do the same thing.

Check connections to the computer, if USB connection, try another USB cable.

  • martin hogg Jan 06, 2008

check connections to the computer, if USB connection, try another USB cable.

It sounds as if the pc is losing its handshake with the projector, this happens quite a lot if projectors are getting moved about, leads can work slack etc and a re-boot is normally required.

Also try a factory reset in the menu options. If that doesn't work its caused by internal hardware failure. If the LP120 is out of warranty don't bother sending it in because you will be soaked over $500 for the repairs.

1998 Toyota Camry. Why does my car lose power while driving, then an hour later it starts back up? Replaced fuel pump minus that filter, air filter, fuel filter.

Didn't I answer this yesterday?

You need an auto electrician to connect a professional grade scan tool computer, and set it to record live data and take it for a test drive. It will record exactly what goes wrong when the car loses power. That will dictate the fix. This type of fault you can't just guess.

Can Chromecast damage TV? I recently bought a Chromecast and it worked fine. Then the picture disappeared, but I still had sound. Today I reconnected it to test it, and one hour later I have no sound

It won't damage the TV. Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Is there display drivers available for my NEX Plasma TV model PXT-42SX1B. I have a Computer that has a HDMI output which I can connect to my TV, but have not been able to correctly setup the display...

I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in viewing the Desktop correctly when connecting a computer to the TV. Unfortunately, there are no such drivers available for TV to make it compatible with a computer.

Please understand that the image from a connected computer will not display in full screen because of the difference between the display resolution of the television and the available resolutions on the computer. Setting the WIDE MODE (Zoom) option on the television to Full 1 or Full 2 will stretch the image to fill more of the television screen but will not fill the entire screen. This is normal operation.

I have searched online and found that 1024 X 768 will provide better experiencing than other resolution. It is required to set the resolution in the computer before connecting it to the TV. Please install if graphic card updates available from the computer manufacturer so that it will give option to select resolution in some cases.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

HP desktop monitor problem

hi try this ,,,
  1. Ensure the video cable is connected (and connected to the correct video port).
  2. Turn off the monitor using the monitor's power button and then restart the monitor.
  3. Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
  4. Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
  5. Unplug the power cord.
  6. Wait 5 seconds.
  7. Plug in the power cord.
  8. Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor. One of two things happens:
    1. The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode. For some computers, updating the BIOS corrects these types of suspend problems.
    2. The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps to adjust the Windows display resolution to the Monitor's native (default) resolution
    3. Connect the monitor to another computer that you know is working to determine if the monitor should be serviced or replaced:
      • If the monitor displays an image from another computer, you know that the monitor works. Troubleshoot the video connection and graphics adapter on the computer.
      • If the monitor remain blank when connected to another computer, the monitor signal processing hardware may be bad. The monitor should be repaired or replaced.
hope it will work for u .. little_angel
