1st option:Here's what you'll need to do. On the XMB on the PS3, go to Settings, then go to Accessory Settings, then Register Bluetooth Device. Select Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones. Press X to accept the 'Start Scanning' mode for the PS3. Then.... With the Motorola pairing can be clumsy. It involves pressing and holding the call button while the microphone is folded closed, then quickly opening it up once the blue LED comes on. 2nd option:Hold down the answer call button on the bluetooth headset until the light is solid (not flashing). When the PS3 detects your headset, it'll ask for a pass. The pass should be "0000" (four zeros).
Hi Please follow the Instruction and set your motorola bluetooth in Nokia Phone
1 Press the Menu button on your Nokia phone and select "Settings" from the available options.
2 Select "Connectivity" from the Settings menu and then "Bluetooth" from the menu that appears.
3 Ensure that the first line on
the Bluetooth menu says "Bluetooth On." If the line reads "Bluetooth
Off," select the line and change the setting to have the Bluetooth
powered on.
4 Power on your Motorola headset
and put it in discovery mode. Discovery mode is indicated by a solid
(non-blinking) blue light on the back of the headset. You can put your
headset in discoverable mode by pressing and holding down the "On"
button for eight seconds. In the case of a headset with a sliding on/off
switch, simply slide the button to the "On" position and hold it there
for eight seconds.
5 Select "Search for audio enhanc" from the available options on your Bluetooth menu.
6 Select your Motorola headset
from the list of items that appear. Your Nokia phone will list all of
the Bluetooth-enabled devices powered on nearby.
7 Enter the passkey for your Motorola headset when prompted. The default passkey for all Motorola headsets is 0000.
8 Start using your headset with
your Nokia phone. The two will be permanently connected, with no need to
repeat the pairing process in the future.
go into settings, look for wireless controls or bluetooth, should ask you to pair with the name of your bluetooth if it wont, turn off the bluetooth in the phone and turn off the bluetooth itself by holding down the button for about 6 secs till the light blinks a few times then goes out. turn the bluetooth function on on the phone FIRST, wait till it says its on, then turn on the bluetooth itself by holding the button down until the light blinks a few times then you get a solid light, it wont stay solid, it will blink a few times then go out blinking from time to time. go back to your phone and find the bluetooth menu and it should ask you if you want to pair, hit yes or whatever option you have and it should start pairing and then connect or you may have to hit the connect option if you have one they dont all connect automatically sometimes so you have to go through all this when you charge the bluetooth or turn it off. good luck.
If you haven't figured it out by now, you have to push and hold the button down until it starts flashing.
Just a simple push of the button will not work.
If it's not connecting to the phone then you haven't paired it to the phone.
Pairing must be done for it to work.
The instructions should be with the headset.
Here are the instructions from the manual for my Contour Design SURFACE SOUND COMPACT (with minor editorials)
To initiate pairing:
Place the bluetooth device and your mobile phone within 0.3 meter (1 foot) of each other - I prefer to place both on a table infront of me
Switch on your phone and select it Bluetooth discover mode (you'll have to figure this one out on your own!)
Immediately after turning the bluetooth device on (ie. lifting the microphone), press and hold both the TALK button and the VOL + button for about 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately and a sound can be heard in the speaker - I had trouble getting it to co-operate once it started into the seeking handset mode of beeping, so try to press the two buttons before all that beeping starts
Once the mobile phone detects the carkit, a "contour SSC" message will be displayed. Follow the phone instructions to accept the pairing. The PIN coade (or passkey) is 0000, then press "yes" or "ok". I assume the PIN code is the same for all of them, as the manual appears mass printed.
If the pairing was successful, the indicator light will switch to blue and flash slowly. If you haven't started the discovery mode within 5 minutes, it will stop. In this case, you must start the pairing again as step 3 above.
There actually is a trick to the HS850 - flip the boom closed, then
hold down the button just until the light holds solid - IMMEDIATELY
after it does flip the boom open and this should keep the light solid.
Then on your cell/device search for bluetooth devices - you should be
able to find it now. Passkey for most devices is 0000.
This will vary depending on the model of your phone. First off, you need to ensure that you are using a bluetooth
enabled phone.
On your bluetooth headset, hold down the power button down until the power light stays lit. This
may take 5 seconds or more. Now your bluetooth is in pairing mode.
You will need to enter the settings and tools menu. From
within that menu, you need to find either "connections" or "bluetooth"
and select. Make sure bluetooth is enabled. There will be an option to
add a new device.
Back
to the phone, you want to hit "add new device". On certain models of
phone you additionally have to select "search for devices". Your phone
will recognize any headsets in pairing mode. When it is finished scanning, allow the phone to add your headset. It will ask you for the device pin code. This pin code will be 0000.
Turn your Bluetooth on Go into your phone go to tools. Choose Bluetooth, then choose options go down to add new, then you will have 2 choices and choose searchand the devices will and and then the should work
