I have a GE Advantium 120 sca1000dww03. The door handle has broken off. I have a replacement handle but am having trouble getting access to the bottom screw inside the door panel. I have removed the cover by prying it up around the door, but I think I have broken the tips off most of the small black hooks. I can't seem to get the metal inner panel out of the door to allow access to the lower screw. I have removed the six screws holding the metal paneI in place and I can pry up two or three of the clips at once but cannot seem to get the panel out! Any suggestions? Ken
The screen should pop up it may take a li but it will pup up and out very similar to the cowel
its a lil tough but it will lft out

Thanks for your advice. I worked on it and then discovered that if I bent the metal flanges near the clips inward a little it loosened the plate enough to "pop it out" just as you said. After I popped it back in, I straighted the metal flanges and put everything back together!

Your advice to pull on it and it would pop out encouraged me to work on it. I discovered that by bending the metal flanges around the clips inward a little, it loosened the plate and allowed it to come out! I simply bent them back after I popped the inner shieldback in! Thanks.
