Unless your capable of fixing the original program
your not going to be able to do much
without knowing what your downloading or where from
it would be tough to say exactly where the issue lies
but whta you can try is downloading the file from a differant site if that is possible
ie another country
or download point

Corrupt software

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application in question. If that does not resolve the issue, try installing the software in another computer. If it works there, then the issue lies with your operating system in your original computer.

When downloading yahoo messenger, why do I get an error that says Yahoo did not finish installing because there is a missing component?it says d3d9.dll was not found

Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX. Chances are, upgrading to the latest version of DirectX will fix the d3d9.dll not found error.

Note: Microsoft often releases updates to DirectX without updating the version number or letter so be sure to install the latest release even if your version is technically the same.

Note: The latest version of DirectX should be installed no matter if you're running Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows XP. The installation may include DirectX10 and DirectX9 files but they run side-by-side without problem on all of these operating systems.

Please refresh your browser window. When you access your Windows Live Hotmail account from more than one computer, we ask you to sign in again to help keep your account private and secure. I am always...

To all: Found the fix.
I use IE9 on W7 PC and have several hotmail email addresses that I use for different accounts. l would open one, then the next, and this message kept popping up before the next one would open. I found the permanent fix that has gotten rid of this message.
Go to 'Internet Options' and in the 'Browser History' section (2nd section down in the pop-up box) click open the 'Settings' box. Under the first heading 'Temporary Internet Files' options 'Check for newer versions of stored pages' select 'Automatically' then click 'OK' at bottom to close box and that's it.
My original setting was 'Never' and the message will appear ever time with that setting. Now it is gone and the different email addresses open without the message.
Hope this works for the rest who keep getting this message.

When my pc starts up i get the message :Air GCFG .exe- entry point not found. Then I get a second error message saying Procedure entry point aspInitialize not found in the link library wlanapi.dll

did you update from sp2 to sp3 remove sp3 for one reason
fixed it by going to Windows Defender, Tools - Software Explorer and
disabled AirGCFG.exe from automatically starting at boot.** Now I don't get the error message and
the Dlink NIC card works just fine.
AirGCFG is a NIC monitoring function and the NIC will work without it.
Dlink was advised and reported back that SP3 was still Beta and they may work on the problem after
MS releases the final SP3.
I informed them that they did not know what was what and I would not hold my breath until they fix
the problem.
Found out the problem was due to a new version of the wlanapi.dll file introduced with SP3 that
conflicts with the Dlink monitoring file.

** Note: AirGCFG did not show up in the "msconfig" startup listing. But does show in Windows
Defender, with an explanation of what it does.

Says No detailed maps found that support routing. The nuvi can not be used without them. Used it to drive home and when turned it back on this is what it said?????

I finally got an answer to the same problem and here it is. Do exactly what it says to do and it will copy to your NUVI 200W. This is a manual way of doing it without the program logging onto the Garmin website.

Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I am sorry that you are having difficulties updating your Nuvi. I have included a fix that you can do which will fix the error message that you are getting on your unit.
1. Extract the downloaded file Garmin_RMU_2010B.exe using 7zip(7zip.org) or WINRAR.
2. After extracting, the files should be available at the location where you extracted the files.
3. Go to the extracted file location. Click on the Windows folder.
4. Right click on the Setup.exe file and Click Create Shortcut
5. Right click on the Shortcut to Setup.exe file and Click Properties
6. In the target line add " -build_map_image 006-D0783-04" at the end of setup.exe". For example it ill end would looking like xxx\Setup.exe" -build_map_image 006-D0783-04
7. Click OK.
8. Double click on the Shortcut to Setup.exe the map file will be built. Leave the Window open till completion of all steps.
10a. Windows XP: Click on Start>Run, then type in %Temp%. Another window will open.
10b. Windows Vista: Click on the Start Button, in the Start Search, type %temp%. Another window will open.
11. The file is placed in subfolder named 006-D0783-04.
12. Copy the gmapprom.img file from the folder to the Garmin folder on the Nuvi. Overwrite the existing file.
13. The lower 49 states will be installed on the unit.
If you have any trouble with this fix, or are not comfortable trying it please call into our 800 number and ask to speak to Software Support and one of our technicians will be happy to assist you.
If you need further assistance please call 800-800-1020 number Mon - Fri 8:00am to 7:00 pm central time and someone will be happy to assist you.

Error - Kernel32.dll

Microsoft defines Kernel32 errors as follows: "The Kernel32.dll file is a 32-bit dynamic link library file that is found in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Millenium Edition (Me). The Kernel32.dll file handles memory management, input/output operations, and interrupts. When you start Windows, Kernel32.dll is loaded into a protected memory space so that other programs do not take over that memory space. On occasion, you may receive an invalid page fault (IPF) error message. This error message occurs when a program tries to access the Kernel32.dll protected memory space. Occasionally, the error message is caused by one particular program, and other times the error message is provoked by multiple files and programs."
