I am looking for a Blodgett # DFG-50-1 Schematic. She quit starting up. The pilot spark seemed week so I removed the ground and cleaned it up. When I put it back there was a green wire hanging loose near the ground block. So I cleaned it up and put it into the block. Now only the internal fan comes on when I turn it to bake. The normal start up when turning it on to bake is the internal fan and the convection fan come on at the same time. in about 30 seconds the pilot flame igniter sparks. All this was happening when I started. (yes I have double checked the gas supply) except the pilot did not ignite and the spark seemed weak. I have seen it much brighter.

Need to change over blodgett dfg-100 from propane to natural what do i need besides the orifice, I see there is a spring in the kit for LP does that get removed from the gas valve

No keep the same spring but change the orifice and adjust the air mixture to get a clean burn

Not getting hot

The users manual, located HERE only has basic tips to check if the unit isn't firing or getting hot, As there is no pilot light, it seems that it is probably the unit's electronic spark that could be the cause. Does it give you a code on the display?

I suspect your silicone carbide ignitor is weak.

Igniter stays lit entire time oven is on Blodgett dfg 100-1

I have seen this happen when a hole develops near where the ignitor is mounted. The excess gass overheats the ignitor and burns it up. What I do in a case like that is slide a c clamp over the burner and cover the hole.

Gas smell at start up

Be sure that the igniter has a good ground. I mean make sure you clean it well. Be sure its fastened well. And of course that it is close enough to burner. Air flow in building can also hinder lighting.

Main Burner not lighting

This is caused by a faulty pilot safty valve. it will be the tee looking valve with the red dime sized button in the middle.
