Tv will not hold the channels when i turn off it will loose everything decland

sometimes is the channel or the cable strength

There are no analog channels anymore.

Just been on Philips Forum and there is a possible very simple solution. Press and hold the MENU button ON THE TV for about 20 secs. Now I have to ring my Dad who has exactly this problem!

Turn the TV on, hold the display button on the remote until the screen goes black. Turn off the TV and back on and it should work. Hope this helps! =]

I think one or two buttons on the TV is stuck in and that should be the channel button. Its pressed in that's hy it keeps scrolling.

Disassemble the TV, remove the TV board carefully to get to the channel button, free the stuck button and TV should be okay again.

Note that TV stores a lot of current, so wait a bit before opening the back cover to avoid electric shock.

1) While pressing & holding down the TV POWER button, press CHANNEL UP or CHANNEL DOWN repeatedly until your TV is turned on or off. 2) Release the TV POWER button when your TV is turned on or off. *Each press of the channel button sends a manufacturer code (1-45) to your TV, one after the other. Note: You may have to do this every time you change or remove the battery, as the remote will reset itself to the default code.

Here are a few suggestions,

*Check your connections to make sure none are loose.

*Try checking the Dish box to make sure everything that should be turned on is actually on.

*Also make sure channel 3 is the correct channel by contacting your service provider.

Remote will not turn on or shut off the TV.
• You must program the converter box remote in order to control your TV power button.
• To program the remote control:

1. Determine if the TV is a model that can be controlled by the remote control. See "Controllable TV brands" on page 17 in the manual.
2. Turn on the TV.
3. While you press and hold TV POWER on the remote control, press CH ^ or CH v one or more times until the TV turns off. Each time you press one of these buttons, the remote control sends a manufacturer code (between 1 and 45) to the TV.

it is due to loose contact near 1 anrena or cable socket. 2 cable wire loose. 3 loose contact near tuner. 4 tuner b+ line or agc line loose. 5 horihontal hold tunning is not proper.or control loose. hope this will help. good luck.

In the tv and with the set turned on press and hold the ACTION and CHANNEL UP buttons at the same time for more than 5 secons.Let Us know how it goes.
