was this a refurbished phone? first thing you can try to do is connect a headset into the phone and see if you and the other party are able to hear each other. if so then there is a possibility that the phone has water damage. another was to check for water damage is to remove the battery and check the white sticker under the battery, if the sticker is red instead of white then that phone is deemed water damaged.
Your microphone for your handphone is problem. IF you try call other person, and if you face same problem again, that mean your handphone was problem. If not, your friends phone have problem with internal speaker.
Try replacing the battery. If this does not fix the problem the charging circuit may be bad and need service. Go through your dealer if you purchased it that way and they may be able to provide you with a loaner while it's sent off to service. Or call RTI yourself and setup a service request. (952) 253-3136
Here's my best idea. Join a party on Xbox LIVE with a friend. This will let you communicate outside of Halo 3. If they can't hear you when you're in the party together, then it's your headset.
To have a friend join a party, go to your friends menu and select a friend. It will then give you the option to invite them into your party. Good luck!
It is either the adapter or the connections to the motherboard. It would definitely feel better about telling you which one it is if you could try another adapter. Last thing i can say for now at least is have your ac adapter checked and make sure it is putting out the required power.
Go to Palms support site and follow the directions for Hard Rest on your unit. ENSURE you follow the directions on backing up your data as this erases EVERYTHING on the unit!
After doing the hard reset, see if the issue is still present. If not, begin adding your thrid-party applications back one by one until the problem presents itself. Once you discover the app causing the issue you need to remove it and get with the developer of that app to remedy the issue.
If this does not fix the issue, the phone may need to be sent to Palm for repair. Or, if you carry insurance on the unit, you may be able to go that route for a replacement.
