Burnt CDs don't play on yamaha crx-m5

Copies of audio CDs that I have made by burning on computer do not play on crx-m5 (though they do on other players). Why is this ? Is it something to do with the format acceptable to the crx-m5 ? How can this be corrected ?

MY UNIT WONT PLAY CD'S

are they store bought CDs ? or are they copies? cause some players unless stated will not play MP3 or MP4 cds, or CDRs , CDRW Etc.... check if the Cds are burned copies, and then also check the music layout if copied, using the computer, see if they are mp3 files that should play if they are mp4 then the cd will act blank....hope this helps...

Dosent play burnt cds

Try to burn cd in 4x speed burn. Or try to burn the audio as CDDA format at lower speed burn.

Crackes usually appears when burn the cd at high speed.

Are you trying to burn an audio-cd using windows media player ? If so, try this guide by microsoft, you can find it here. If not, is that a data cd? What software are you using when you're trying to burn CDs? Try this guide from microsoft

hi penguinxy.
try get a original cds if it works fine.the next time you burn cd try burn at 8x or low may be your cd lens is not detecting cds burnt at high speed.hope this helps..

Playing CD-RW audio CDs on Kenwood DP-J2070

try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds,then the optical lens or the board is broken.
