How do i print a report confirming the receipt of a sent fax

Please follow the steps below:

1. From the Home screen, navigate to Fax Setup. Touch the Setup button.
2. Go to Fax Setup.
3. Go to Reports.
4. Select Print Confirmation Page or Print Activity Logs.

HP LaserJet 3050, 3055, 3390, 3392 AiO Product - How to Print a FAX Confirmation Report Description By default, a Fax Confirmation report (Fax Call Report) will only print when a fax error occurs. However, this option can be changed using the printer control panel.

1. Press the right arrow until Reports appears in the display, press the checkmark.
2. Press the right arrow until Fax Call Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
3. Press the right arrow until Print Report appears in the display, press the checkmark.
4. Right arrow to the option of choice, press the checkmark to save the change.

FAX call report options

• Send Fax Only - a confirmation sheet will only print when a fax is sent
• Never - no fax confirmation sheets
• Every Error - default setting
• Send Error - a fax confirmation prints when the fax transmission encounters an error
• Every Fax - a fax confirmation sheet will print for incoming

Normally if i fax is sent, it will just give a message as Fax sent or it wont give any error.
But if you want to get a confirmation whether the fax is sent or not, you can print a fax confirmation page on ever fax sent or received or both.

Press the SETUP button ( menu )
Scroll till you find Print Report - Press OK
Scroll till you find Automatic Reports Setup - Press OK
Choose Send Only - Press ok

Reports you can print
You can print these reports whenever you need to. Some of these reports can be set to print automatically also.
1. Press Report/Help.
2. Choose the report you want by using left or right arrow.
3. Press Start/Enter when the desired report is displayed.
4. The selected report will be printed.

Sending Confirm
A confirmation report shows whether the transmission was successful or not,
how many pages were sent, etc.
ON: prints a confirmation report automatically each time you send a fax.
OFF: never prints a confirmation report (You can print one manually using the
Report/Help button (see Print reports on page 51).
ERROR: prints only when an error occurs.

Tip If you choose On Fax Send or Send & Receive, and scan your fax to send from memory, you can include an image of the first page of the fax on the Fax Sent Confirmation report. Press Setup, press 2, and then press 2 again. Select On from the Image on Fax Send Report menu.

I had the same problem with my 6210. A different machine, but this may be worth a try. You need to go to the general setup, rather than the fax menu on the keypad. Two pushes of the button takes you to "print reports". Press OK and you go to "Fax Report Setup", OK again gives you "Print Report". You then can toggle with the arrows for the various options. In this case press OK when you are on "sent faxes"

You can configure your HP all-in-one so that it automatically prints error and confirmation reports. If you need printed confirmation each time a fax is sent, follow these instructions before sending any faxes and select Send Only. To set automated report options from the control panel Press Setup. Press 2, and then press 1. This selects Print Report and then selects Fax Report Setup. Press to scroll through the following report types: Every Error: prints whenever there is any kind of fax error (default). Send Error: prints whenever there is a transmission error. Receive Error: prints whenever there is a receiving error. Every Fax: confirms every time a fax is sent or received. Send Only: prints every time a fax is sent indicating whether the fax was successfully sent or not. Off: does not print any error or confirmation reports. Press OK to select the report.
