THE SPEAKER ARE NOT WORKING CAN NOT HERE THE AUDIO.

Any 5.1 surround system will work with this. It is better to be high in impedence than too low.

Did you open your speaker ICON and check to see that you don't have the audio muted? I have seen a lot of customers complain that their NEW speakers don't work but they have their audio set to mute.

Clearly, it's blown.

Change the default sound device from high definition audio to speakers.

The old speakers are not compatible. Your new computer is looking for an external power source for the speakers, the older polk speakers that came with Hp computers have none.

Double check that you have the speaker cable plugged into the proper jack (audio out - green) on the computer. Make sure that the audio hasn't been muted and that it is set for the correct output type (if you have a multi-channel audio option).

Try a standalone set of speakers to check if the audio driver for the on-board audio or sound card is working.

(I've found that the integrated speakers will fail before the monitor does. Since the integrated speakers are low-end and similar speakers are fairly cheap, get new speakers of a quality you like. Repairing the speakers isn't worth it.)

Do you mean ordia distortion? upgrade your sound card, or get new speakers. I had speakers and they sounded horrible. I upgraded my motherboard and my speakers and what huge difference it made.

Double check the back of the computer there should be audio card connections there!

The speakers need some kind of amplification, if you have something like a set of computer speakers connected and they are not powered they won't work, try connecting them to the headphone jack.
Let me know the set up, what kind of speakers, audio settings from the tv menu.

well, I suggest 2 things here, you can replace the speakers for a new pair, or see if connector or inside of the failing speakers, to see if the positive cable is connected, or the negative, from that you also check the wire connector end, if is in good condition too.
