We moved the GE washer/ dryer... now the washer only works if the dryer is on... also the dryer runs but doesnt heat. Another thing is that the washer will fill and empty but wont spin or agitate. This is a stacking washer dryer that are attached.

It is my guess that you took wires off the back and did not put them back the correct way. Otherwise look for loose connections.

Dryer Timer doesn't move in Easy Care Mode

do you have heat?does it stay hot while in coll down?if so your heating element is grounded, open the door, look up and remove the two screws holding the top panel in place, pick top panel up just a little and move it to the left that should remove the top panel, put it on cool down or no heat and run it,if the heat stays on this is your problem the element is sagging and touching the metal cover around the element, the way the timer works is on timed dry it counts down like a clock until it turns off when on more or less or auto same thing the dryer starts, the heat comes on and when it hits temp. the heat shuts off when the heat is off the timer will advance to off when the heat starts again the timer stops,if the element isn't grounded then you still could have a bad element there are two elements in your dryer if one is broke the timer won't advance or some have only one element so if the timer doesn't advance you probably have no heat or a bad cycling thermostat or a bad sensor up front where the lint filter is.you'll have to check them with a meter.first thing to check is the heater located behind the drum.

GE dryer dwsr463eg7ww timer isn't working and doesnt heat up

The heating element assembly warms the air before the air enters the dryer drum. If the dryer won't stop, it may be because the heating element assembly isn't working - which greatly increases the drying time. Check the heating element for continuity. http://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dryer/7-3-850356-/GE-Dryer-won-t-stop-DWSR463EG7WW

Washer thats new and doesnt work

Could be the belt broke or came off. I believe this one has a belt switch, which could also explain the no heat. If this is new, call GE or your local store to have the machine repaired under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty.

Whirlpool LTE5243D Top Load Stacked Dryer heats sometimes and not others

couple things this could be lets start obvious
faulty door switch even though door latches doesnt mean its working properly
bad guages easy to check dont have to run dryer just guages
turn on setting let run threw cycle if it stops on cycle and dont move for a length of time this will be the problem

these 2 things are main causes of why a machine wont work or partcially works at times everything else is easy
