Incoming calls sound only on reception desk.

How do I program my system to ring incoming calls on all extensions?

We have a small office and the receptionist is not in all the time. I need to have incoming calls ringing on all extensions, so that anyone can answer the phone.

I have gone through these steps to try and program my phone to answer the line when I pick up my handset. I am getting stuck. The 5th instruction from the bottom: "The display should say line 001: appear only" my phone says line 001: BlocA, and there is no "change" option. Any info on this problem is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

That sounds like your system is using a T-1 or a PRI for the lines. In this case, you'll need to know which line is ringing on the receptionists phone that you want to ring on yours. You can use the button inquiry feature (feature*0) on the receptionists set and press the line that you want to ring on your set, there will be a number (like L157) before the line name. This is the number you can use to program the lines appear and ring status in step 7(The display ask for a line number. press list).

Incoming calls: When we receive an incoming call,

Extension call forwarding is controlled by a timer, and they put these things in the manual. If your CF after 2 rings is from a call to a specific extension, from that extension, dial *713 and a 2 digit number from 00-99 seconds on the intercom. Start with 18.

If your call forwarding is from intercept, then you have a system programming issue and need to look in the installer's manual or check with your system programmer.

When calls come into the office ext. 10 rings. It's the receptionist's desk. However ext. 29 rings too. How can I stop ext. 29 from ringing on all incoming calls?

Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Central telephone Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout

Can not pick up line on incoming calls from one extension only

That's what happens when you plug in the system and don't program it. You need to review ICD groups.

By default, the phone connected to the first extension is the master phone and the only phone that rings.

Night button and incoming calls

The programs involved with you ringing are 81 ( no light or Day Mode ), 84 ( blinking red light or Day 2 Mode ), and 87 ( solid red light or Night Mode ). To change the ringing assignments you need to know the port numbers of the phones you want to ring or not ring. You can do this by pressing DN/ICM dialing # 4 0 2 at each phone, the diaplay will show the physical and logical port numbers. These numbers will be used to turn on or off the aaociated lamps within the above programs. Do you have anyone on staff that understands the system programming ? Let me know ...Mike

Simply want to turn ringer off at my phone for external incoming calls

How do you want to be notified? How do you determine if a call is for you? Does an operator answer the call and transfer it to your extension? If so, you just need to change programming for your phone so it does not ring for incoming calls. It would still ring if a call is transfered to you. Programming is changed in the phone system, not the telephone. Your phone can be used on different Nortel systems that program differently so you need to find out which system you have and locate the manual for that or pay a local installation company to make the changes.
