Error # 322 is a Fuser not heating error. This usually means the fuser is bad or requires a fuser module. This is not something you can test without servicing the unit, so it would need to go to Canon or an Authorized Service Center for repair.

The error depends on the fax model that you are using. Error 322 on Canon Fax and other machine may significate that the Fuser is not heating (Usually Bad Fuser Module).


A different thing is Comm error 322 on computer, that means that there is no communication, and can be caused by bad phone cable, software problems and hardware problems.
In that case ensure that you are using a fax cable with two poles. If the problem started recently do a system restore to a date before the problem started.

If you get the 322 on display, even when computer is not connected, you usually need to replace the fuser unit.

##322 is the fuser unit not warming up!Can be replaced and fixed!

Try cleaning the "rollers" in the track where the paper feeds through. Look for small pieces of paper that may be logged where you can't readily see them. Look carefully. Once you clear the paper path it should work.
