My admiral leaks as soon as the water turns on, it appears to be coming out of the housing unit for the hoses rather then the tub or the hoses.

There are a few places that a washer could be leaking:

1) the water valve itself, it may be cracked (most are plastic), or the hose connecting it to the spout may be loose.

2) the hose from the water valve to the spout (as above) could be loose from spout or water valve. It also may be cracked or have a cut in it from wear on other parts.

3) the spout may be damaged or loose from the back plate making it misaligned so the water spills over the side of the tub.

4) the washtub may be missing a spring that keeps it centered in the machine causing the fill spout to spray water over the side of the washtub.

5) There may be a leak in the tub, pump, hoses for the pump (not likely since when it leaks)

That's all that there is to leak when it does not leak all the time. (if it were all the time you could throw the supply hoses and valves in the mix.

Hope that helps

Water is leaking from the bottom of the machine and will not fill up

Hello,

Your water leak can come from 3 areas:

1) drain hose on back of washer is coming off / splitting / getting loose

2) water pump is leaking (cracked?) or has a gasket that has deteriorated.

3) hose between tub and water pump has come off / split / became loose.

Since your washer isn't able to hold water, it makes it easy to remove the clothes, and lean the washer forward to see what is going on. Most washers' mechanicals can be acessed from either the bottom, or from the back via access panel. The water leaks are generally a pretty easy repair.

Admiral lnc6746a80. The water will not spin out

Well, the drive belt under the machine runs the tub and the pump. You look at that by taking the panel off the back of the machine. Move the belt by hand to see if the water pump is seized or frozen. Doing all this after unplugging the machine of course. If you didn't check the breaker for the house wall plug, do that. I suppose there are 4 possibles here. Broke, slipping drive belt; fried drive motor; seized tub transmission; or frozen, seized water pump, or a kinked drain hose. The easy fix is the drive belt or pump. My troubles were a garage that dipped below freezing, ice in the pump. These Admirals can take a beating.

Water is coming from under the washing machine not out of the hoses, where could it come from?

There might be two possible reason for that.

it might be coming form the tub itself passing through the rubber seal of your plastic rotator(the big wheel inside the tub)

the other thing is in the junction of the hose the tub.

try to open the back of your washing macjine where you can get an access inside the wheel and the junction connector, from there you will the cause of the leackage. try to put some water while looking at so you can see where the water is coming out

My clients unit is leaking substaintial water in

Check the drainage hose to see if its connected properly. it is located under the unit. it may be loose or, not connected correctly. if the drainage hose is connected properly, this will be a faulty water valve. replace if found to be faulty.

My Whirlpool ultimate care is leaking under,I did check the hoses and they are okey. What could be the problem?.

Can you describe where the leak may becoming from? For example, near the front, from under the washer, or near the back.

If you notice a pool of water coming from under the washer near the FRONT, this is commonly caused by a leaking water pump. Since these pumps are sealed units and are considered non-serviceable, it must be replaced. They cannot be resealed or "fixed".

If the leak appears to be leaking from under the washer near the CENTER of the tub, either the tub seal is leaking or the air dome hose may have come loose. If the tub seal is leaking, it also must be replaced. If the air dome hose comes loose, however, the washer will never fill up all the way and will continuously run. This will cause a flood rather than a drip.

If the leak is coming from the REAR of the washer, this can be caused by cracked fill hoses, loose fill hose connections, a leaking drain hose, or a fill valve hose leaking.

Since you said you checked your hoses, I suspect a water pump, or something loose. Can you please confirm your symptoms and let me know?

Leaking dishwasher

If your dishwasher leaks, check these:Main tub seal
Door gasket or seal
Water-inlet valve
Hoses

Main tub seal
Note… If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you. But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the entire pump and motor assembly.

The main tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water in the dishwasher from leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get to the seal, which is inside the dishwasher, remove the:

1. Lower rack
2. Spray arm
3. Spray arm support
4. Wash/drain impellers

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

Door gasket or seal
Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks. But, the water-supply line from the house and the rubber tube leading from the valve to the inside of the dishwasher may leak. Tighten or repair/replace these as necessary.

The water-inlet valve could mechanically stick open. When that happens, the water continues to flow into the dishwasher, which then floods your kitchen. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher, and replace the valve.

Hoses
Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.

Just moved. New washer leaks water and appears tub is off center

CHECK THE BALANCE SPRING LOCATED (INSIDE LEFT REAR OF MACHINE). IF SPRING IS OFF IT CAN CAUSE THE TUB TO TILT TOWARD THE FRONT AND THE TUB FILL HOOD WILL NOT BE OVER THE TUB DURING FILLING OR THE TUB WILL BE ERATIC DURING THE SPIN WHEN RINSE WATER IS SPAYING IN CAUSE ING THE WATER TO MISS THE TUB AND SPRAY OUTSIDE. THIS IS COMMON IF THE UNIT HAS BEEN MOVED OR PLACED ON IT'S SIDE OR CARRIED AT EXTREME ANGLE.
