Hotpoint aquarius wf101. all lights flashing and no buttons will work. tried turning on/off but no joy. have unblocked filter and retried but still not working. only light which flashes of those on top of front panel is final spin - any thoughts!!!

fit new door interlock switch not too expesive parts about £15

remove drain hose and empty into a bucket or bowel this will take a few goes than restart on rinse cycle if no joy repeat

Look to where the hot and cold water hoses hook to the back of the washer.
Normally there is a screen filter inside each of the hoses, or in the inlet of the machine. These get plugged with debris and slows the filling of the washing machine.

the filter is inside the sump hose you need to remove hose/need to clarify which lights flash

press and hold on off button till the display panel lights up.Then press and hold the on/off button and the start /cancel button together.You will now reset the washing machine settings.And just pick your cycle again

JUST GOT A NEW HOTPOINT STARTED TEST WASH ALL THE LIGHTS FLASHED SO SWITCHED OFF TRIED AGAIN NO JOY. TECHNICIAN COME OUT SAID THE CIRCUIT BOARD WAS GONE, NOT GOOD NEWS FOR YOU BUT THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW!

I have a fairly new Hotpoint Aquarius machine (out of guarantee).
When it is switched on, all of the red lights flash and it will not operate.
Can you help please ??

You have to check your pump, probably clogged

Hi ya, just a quick suggestion, have you cleaned the filter on the front of your machine?? My machine did this and it was only when i cleaned the fluff and the 5 pence pieces from this filter it stopped, Hope it helps
