Is this a universal replacement remote or the same one that came with your DVD player? If it is the same remote, you should be able to find programming information in the DVD player's owner manual. The link to your player is below. Find the Remote programming information in chapter 6.

Blu ray DVD Players

It is my understanding the xfinity remote is designed only to control comcast set top box and TVs. It also can control audio receivers. It is unlikely you can control a DVD player with it.

At best you could try and use the programming instructions on page 5 of the manual and see if it picks up your DVD player. Otherwise it might be better to use the existing remote controller you have and program the Comcast set top box to it. You need to find the codes from the programming instructions of the original remote control and you will also need to know the model number of your comcast box.

The code for a URC-3021 to control an Audiovox DVD player is not listed in the manual. These are the steps to run through all the DVD control codes to find one that is compatible with your unit:

To setup your URC-3021 for the DVD player, these are the steps:

1. Turn on your DVD player.
   
2. On the remote control, press DVD once.
3. Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.
4. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
5. Aim the remote control at the the DVD player and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and DVD. Stop when the DVD player turns off.
6. To lock in the code, press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

put Dvd back into unit- press DVD on remote- DVD light will light up on the unit- press "set up "button on the remote- a screen will come on - use remote arrows to go down to system set up- press enter- another add on menu apprears -use arrows on remote to choose "disc set up" press enter- another menu appears- go to "finalize" press enter - a pop up menu appear- choose "yes" and wait until disc finalizes- finished and usable in any DVD player.
