Usually that is a sign of an object in between the rollers.
Check for paper or other foreign body. It will be located on the side that dragged.

Good Luck!

MY PRINTER KEEPS JAMMING THE PAPER AS I TRY TO PRINT SOMETHING. THE PRINTER IS A LEXMARK P4350 ALL IN ONE

First of all check the quality of the paper used, is it of low thickness. if so change with a different type.
If the printing paper is good then the rollers can be moving over with different pressure on the paper making it touch unevenly and so pulling the paper differently.adjust the rollers and if possible tighten so that it touches evenly.
The roller will now move the paper without any side pulling and jamming.

Paper jam/ printing problem

I have this printer and when this did it to me like its doing to you the FEEDER had to be replaced. Now you might want to see if all the rollers are rolling and nothing is in the paper path. Also check you paper weight and size and adjust accordenly. A new feeder is like $27 bucks and you would have to go 3rd party to get it. I got mine from a USED lexmark someone was saling off ebay for my fix.

When feeding my paper it keeps pulling the paper

You need to replace the feed rollers. One side is probably worn. You should be able to buy a rebuild kit for it. Try ebay.

The paper keeps jamming to the left

It could be that your paper is too thin for this printer (or too thick I suppose, if it is extremely thick paper you're using). If it is very humid where you are located then that can also cause the problem as multiple pages will stick and start to **** in all at once causing it to jam. Probably jams to the "left" just by the force of the rollers on that side being slightly greater.

Lexmark 2500 printer jam. How do I open hte back access panel

Pull it out with a pair of tweezers and then
clean the rollers from where the paper goes in.
clean the carriage rod(metallic rod along which cartridges move)with alcohol.
If this does not work that means that your pick assembly of your printer is dyiing

The paper jams up when the printer pulls it into print

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed throught the printer. The reason for this, in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time. Worth a try. I have fixed a number of printers this way saving costly repairs. Bud

PAPER JAM

Rotate tires. Pull out paper tray. Pull down on red low paper indicator at left bottom. Two rollers come down on axel near center. I pulled off the rubber tire like roller, then twisted the roller inside out and reinstalled it with the fresh side out.
If tires dry out again will probably buy new ones from ebay.

Paper jam lexmark x3470

#2 works for an x3470, but jostling the small cylinder that accepts the paper (nudge it gently toward the printer) seems to be what pulls back the microswitch...

Paper problem

At this point, you my wish to try feeding a slightly thicker piece of paper or light card stock through the printer. If that fails and there is no obvious paper jam then I'm afraid there is nothing else and the printer would need to be serviced or replaced.
