Corrupted operating system dell xps m140. how to

First of all, you'll need the discs that came with the computer. It contains the operating system, application and drivers for your system. If it did not, then you need to follow the instructions on the link below
Dell factory restore. Same instructions works for all dell computers.

In the dell site itself you can give a request to get os cd sir but they will be giving you the os disc defaultedly when you buying the laptop itself or else you can buy the os cd from the computer sales outlet showrooms near your city.

check the ram n hard disk

Make sure any programs that consist of sound for example " Soundman" is running this can cause a conflict with your audio. Check for updates if you can

this problem occurs when the main DLL files of the OS is dmaged or corrupted.

so a new/repair of OS is required.
