I have a GE Profile dishwasher GSD4930X66. I'm getting a C1 error code. Checked all of the drain lines, the air gap is clear, pressed the Reset button and the disposal is empty.
What happens is, when in Normal Cycle, all the water pumps out in about 1 minute 5 seconds but the pump keeps on running until the C1 error is displayed, then the pump stops at 2 plus minutes and the washer moves on to the next part of the cycle. C1 remains on the Display until I press the Reset button.
If I press the Reset button and then start the washer in the Rinse & Hold cycle, all the water pumps out in about 1 minute 5 seconds, the motor runs for about 15 to 20 seconds then turns off with no error.
What is causing the drain pump to continue running after all the water has been pumped out?
Thanks for your help.

C1 - Partially Blocked Drain - This error will occur when dishwasher was unable to pump out water in less than 95 seconds. Check drain line for debris and blockage. If clear, check for a restricted drain valve in the pump. Check the pressure sensor for correct operation as it sounds like it may be defective and thinks that the machine is still full of water after it has emptied.
It is possible that the
machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from
the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must
initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work
when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these
points must be checked or the fault
relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a
suspect.
