The rca 52 inch tv turns on with picture but the images are in split in three with red green and blue and theres about five lines that swoop down and up to the top of tv ?

If you are missing one of the colors but still have an image (red, green or blue). Real simple, turn on the TV and see if there are any colors missing from those. Most rear projections have a color bar you can put up or a converge feature which is used for aligning the colors for a clear picture.

hows the picture? is it 3d looking? do you have the convergence option in the setup menu

Hello, If your picture looks like a "3D image" you need convergence IC's . Red and or blue picture is not converging on top of the green picture. They are mounted on large, finned heat sinks. The # on the IC's starts with "STK-" followed by numbers.They are available through tritronicsinc.com for $15 to $35 each. Good luck.

it can be replaced with a t0220 stile case dioded 220k ohm go to nte look up and do a search on the rca part # 259638 search the web for the part.

Your tv is crt-based and is out of convergence. In other words, the settings for keeping the Red, Green and Blue images aligned have drifted and must be reset. This is common with CRT projectors and CRT rear projection tvs.

Refer to your owners manual for instructions on re-aligning it.
