My nokia 5310, won't charge. I plug it into the wall, then it just stays there and nothing comes up with 'charging' like it used to before. I left it on charge overnight, but when I took it off charge the next day it still had the same amount of battery left as it had the previous day before. I checked I had put the charger in properly, but it still didnt work :( What do I do?!

My Nokia 5310 also wouldn't charge; pocket lint had become trapped in the charging hole, and was packed down over time. I used a very thin straight-pin to gently scrape the lint out of the hole until I could see the gold-colored metal pad at the bottom (using a very bright flashlight and small dental mirror to direct the light). That took about 20 minutes. Now the charger plug slides all the way into the port and clicks into place. Tip: Be gentle, that center pin will break if you try to use something fat, like a safety-pin or a toothpick. -- John Dollison, Colorado.

If you can wiggle the charger and it starts charging, then it is the phone. It is a very bad fault in these phones and as time goes on they like to charge less and less.

My solution to this was more simple than I thought it would be - squeeze the end of the charger tip VERY slightly with pliers. It should be a slight oval shape and will fit SNUGLY in the charger hole. If you crushed it too far, it wont go into the hole as the outer diameter of the plug is too large. Dont despair! Simply rotate the pliers 90 degrees and squeeze it slightly the other way. Be VERY gentle - the metal is soft and easy to bend. Once it is a correct size, you should be able to push it in there and it will work like a charm.

Good luck!

Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

My device won't charge

This situation sometimes occurs when the batteries get overcharged. Use the phone for a day and then attempt to charge. If it still won't charge, remove the battery for about a minute. Then re-install the battery and attempt to charge. If that doesn't clear the problem, you may need to get a new battery.

I have connected cell thru usb.HOW I WILL COME TO KNOW MY NOKIA5310 IS CHARGING. it doesnt show sign of charging

Many cell phones will not charge through a PC because of cable configuration, voltage issues or lack of software. Cable configuration and voltage is usually the bigger issue.

Ask you cell provider what you can do with your model of phone to charge it from a computer. You may need a special USB cable that matches the proper connectors for you phone.

I am getting a message that the charger for the 5310 is not suppo

Hello,

the charger of your phone is either beginning to malfunction or the charging port.

To know where the fault is coming from, use another charger to charge your phone and if the message still comes up, then you should know that the phone charging port is not good and needs to be replaced.

But if the message does not come up, then you need to change the charger.

I hope you got the message.

Best wishes.

Maybe its your battery or charger port.Try to use another battery, if did'nt work then it's charger port.To avoid this kind of error please do not overcharged your phone.
