You did remove lock on mem card?

For the card locked, make sure that you are using a 2GB or smaller card. The E760 can not use 4GB or larger SDHC cards. 2GB cards can still be purchased on Amazon if your local store no longer carries them. If you are using 2GB, then here are some more tips for card locked.

OK, if your camera keeps saying that the card is locked, you need to take your memory card from the camera.
The card should look something like this. Have a look at the lever on the card, which will lock or unlock the memory card for use.



Now, just slide the switch to the other end to unock your card.

Move the slide switch on the side of the card.

• connect it to the computer
• look weather threis any hidden or zipped file or folder
• if any unzip it or unhidden it

Write Protection: There is a tab on the memory card so you will you need to remove it from the camera and change the position of this tab to "unlock" it.

Make sure the camera is off and pull out the SD card. Look on the side of the card. You will see a little switch. One side says locked (or shows a little picture of a locked lock) the other side says unlocked (or shows a little picture of an unlocked lock).
