Are you sure this is a four stroke engine, i thought all the small blowers were two strokes in which case there is no oil in the crankcase, the lubrication is mixed with the fuel

It is less than 1 yr old.Answer: I have the same problem. Thats why the company is called Poulan.. Because thats what you do half the time when you own one. PULLON the starter cord...............
