Hi, ok now you need to check your wiring within the battery pack ,

If there are two batteries, you need to make sure that negative wire of one battery connects to the positive of the other battery,

now use the postiive and negative battery connections to connect to the scooter , that will give you your 24volts,

battery 1 connects battery 2
+ | - <------> + | -

== 24Volts

use the + of battery 1 & - of battery 2 to connect to the scooter.

GeWiz.

When battery is being charged the dis light keeps coming on

charger or batteries are dud, or short in the wiring, check all wiring for shorts, check to see if you can charge the batteries with a car charger one at a time, if they charge and hold that charge then you need to replace the charger, if they will not hold a charge or you have a similar problem with the car charger, then the batteries are dud and need replacing,

Remove batteries from the battery pack on a ultralite 480 mobility scooter

Tony, It is evident that you didn't remove the batteries in the first place. The batteries are hooked up in series meaning that 1 battery uses the positive cable, the negative on the same battery connects to the positive on the other battery and the terminal left is the negative for the system.

Battery stuck on Pride mobility scooter

Hi. There are no locking devices on the GoGo Elite Traveller series of scooter. The Battery pack simply lifts off. However, they can be very tight and sometimes require a sharp tug upwards to remove them.
Hope this helps.

My father-in-laws gogo will be not used for several months while he's in florida. how should the battery be stored/charged while not in use?

Charge the batteries fully and remove the battery pack from the scooter. About once a month charge the battery pack. It shouldn't take long to charge since you are not using the scooter Don't overcharge when the light on the charger turns green turn it off and unplug it from the battery pack. This should keep the batteries fully charged and fresh when FIL gets back home. Hope this helps you

My scooter which is a Fold and Go keeps stopping suddenly and battery becomes dead, checked all wiring in battery it seems fine, what other problem could it be?

I had this problem with my caddy. I had to send it to Florida,UPS, and they fixed the problem. It had to do with the tiller connections. Worked great after.

Battery won't hold a charge - go-go elite travellor scooter battery charged overnight but won't hold charge.

We have had problems with scooter batteries from time to time and the repair man said to take apart the battery case and disconnect the batteries and use a car charger. I put the two battery in parallel and used a amp battery charger. This worked fine.
Don't run your scooter batteries all the way down when using the Go Go as the scooter charger won't always bring them up to full charge and you may have repeat this. Also running the batteries all the way down shortens there life.

Instructions for dismantling for transportation

The Shoprider Soverign is not really meant to be dismantle for travel. The best you can do is to remove the seat and fold down the handlebars. Also depending on the year it was manufactured there is a pin towards the back of the scooter that connects the front chassis and rear chassis. You must first remove the batteries to gain access to the pin. If you are elderly you might need help. It is heavy.
