When I print, the printer automatically cancels it hence does not print. I am about to throw it out the window. I have a Lexmark 4650

This sounds like a spooler problem on Windows. Make sure the Print Spooler service is enabled. 1. Click on Windows/Start button. 2. Type services.msc in the Start Search box. NOTE: Windows XP users will select Run. 3. Hit Ok. 4. Locate and right-click on Print Spooler, and then click Stop from the drop-down menu. 5. Right-click Print Spooler again, and then click Start from the drop down menu.
Try to print again.

Just got a new HP with Windows 7 Home Premium and a new Lexmark x4650. Printer only works intermittently. Have installed and uninstalled the drivers more times than I care to remember...at least 5 times....

This could be a driver issue. Try to uninstall the driver this way, refer to this article: How to Uninstall Lexmark Printers. Reboot pc when prompted. When your computer turns on, check if your Windows 7 is running on 32-bit or 64-bit System Type. Go to Start menu -> right-click on Computer -> Properties. Take note of the System Type.
Download and re-install the driver using the links below: - Lexmark X4650 driver for Windows 7 32-bit - Lexmark X4650 driver for Windows 7 64-bit
Execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Lexmark x4650 when printing grey turns out black, help please.

Hi. It might be just the print settings in the printer. You might be printing in Best Mode - it uses a lot of ink. Try to print your file again. But before you hit Print/ok button on your computer, go to Preferences first and check the print settings. Make sure to choose Automatic or Draft Mode, then hit Ok to save the setting. Print the file. Hope this resolves the problem. Good luck!
