sound like you have something left on.. i had the same thing with my truck... you think that you went all over the truck in noting left on.. but their is... my was a ground wire that went to anything so i cut the wire.. in it never went dead again

I had the same problem on my jeep, clean and tighten the battery posts an d terminals. I did the that and it stopped.

Even with the wire removed, are you saying it goes dead while driving or just sitting . if it goes dead wile driving then the alternator may not be charging the battery as you drive but if it goes dead while the car sits then there is a draw some where.
if you sent me the year make and model with the engine size and also let me know when it goes dead in 1 hour, while driving or car just sitting and i will help you solve the problem. good day

The radio in my 1996 Buick century had a clock light that did not go off when the car was shut off, so the battery would go dead after 2 days. Disconnected the radio and all was well. Getting ready for a new radio now.

Its entirely possible for the battery to put out enough volts on a tester. It may have a " Dead cell " and that may be causing this. I should be getting worse though. Replace the battery

find a friend with a multimeter and use the link to troubleshoot parasitic battery drain....Make sure you know which slots your fuses go back in..
