My lexmark x2500 series printer has brand new ink in it and it worked before now all of a sudden it keeps saying to put paper in when there is already paper in it and it seems to be jamming everytime i put the paper in and try to print something. Why does the paper keep jamming even though i have put it in correctly, the same way i have always put it in this printer?

It could be just a slight communication failure between your cartridges and the printer. Try to re-seat the cartridges by removing and re-inserting them into the cartridge carrier. I hope this helps.
Step 1
Press the "Power" button to turn on your Lexmark X2500 3-in-1 printer.
Step 2
Open the top portion of the printer to reveal the ink cartridges.
Step 3
Lift the gray plastic cover on the left. Remove the empty black #28 ink cartridge. Next, lift the purple plastic cover on the right and remove the empty color #29 ink cartridge.
Step 4
Remove the new black #28 ink refill cartridge from its packaging. Tear the protective strip of paper from the cartridge's sensor. Now, remove the new color #29 ink refill cartridge from its packaging and tear the protective strip of paper from the cartridge's sensor.
Step 5
Turn the cartridges so that you can read the label. This is the way the cartridges should face when being put into the printer.
Step 6
Slide the black #28 cartridge into the slot on the left side and push it down. Slide the color #29 cartridge into the slot on the right side and push down.
Step 7
Push the gray plastic cover down over the #28 cartridge until it clicks closed. Push the purple plastic cover down over the #29 cartridge until it clicks closed.
Step 8
Close the top portion of the printer. Your new ink cartridges are installed, and your printer is ready to use.

take out the cartridge , turn off your printer and take out all the cables behind your printer and wait for 5 minutes and put everything back in.. if the same error shows.. im sorry but your printer needs to be replaced.
What you need is to reset the ink level: 1) Goto the Lexmark Solution Center application. 2) Press button Maintenance>Install a new print cartridge, follow the instruction on screen. U may then have your new full ink level. Note: u only can reset to full level, cannot customize the level by your own. Hope this help.
Maybe the cartridges are in slightly crooked. Take them out and put them back in. Make sure there is no paper or any other obstruction around there and try again. :)

If the printing is too light, it is the printing quality issue. Just
goto Printing Preferences>Quality/Copies tab, select the
Quality/Speed to Normal or Photo, and the Paper Type to Plain or Photo,
then it may help your problem.
