E5 Error code indicates that the water collection tank is full. To drain the water collection tank completely, leave the bottom drain cap off long enough to allow any residual water to drain out. Once the water tank is completely drained and no more water flows out, reinstall the cap

check flow from the supply tap ( washer expanded and blocking water flow )
check gauze filter at hose end at machine
check water solenoid for full flow ( diaphragm stopping full flow)

allow tank to fill a little more by adjusting fill valve. When there's not enough water flowing from tank the stopper can over-power the water flow and cause the flush to stop by re-sealing.

Is the drain line clear?

Sounds like the float is not attached...it should be attached to the flapper ....it may need adjusting

Next time turn the water off at the water meter,if possible. One trick to stop the water flow is to take a slice of bread ,and jam it into the pipe,and do your solder job the bread will disintegrate after a short time.

1st Green water is algee. Kill the algee in the pool. 2nd when you're finished backwashing the filter. Stop pump and move valve handle to rinse position. Then restart pump. There is a little popper in the spout area. You need to remove the top handle and slide the spout off. The popper is in the main tube coming up. It.s a standard part at most big box hardware stores and it costs less than $10.
