Generally it is always 0000 or 00000 for most handsets.

Good try.

Palm Treo and Jabra bluetooth headset

Turn your headset off. Then, press and hold the answer/end button until the indicator light is solid lit in blue. It is in paring mode. Now, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the BT-350 should appear on-screen. Select it and command the application to proceed. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing proces is successful, the headset should enter stand-by mode. The pairing process is timed. If you fail to complete it, you'll have to start it over, from the phone turned off phase. Once paired, whenever both your headset and your phone's bluetooth radios are turned on, they should connect to each other automatically. Otherwise

I have a Mac laptop, a Palm Treo Wx and am now using a Motorola H700. I need to know how to sync my H700 with my Treo so I can dial via my headset and not need to use the actual cell phone. It has now...

Hi, i'm not sure what the Mac has to do with your Headset. You can register your blue tooth headset with any device that supports bluetooth. In fact, you can use your headset with multiple devices. Even your Mac can use bluetooth to connect to a headset (if you have bluetooth turned on, and not all Macs have factory bluetooth).

To 'register' your headset with the Treo is a two step process.
on the Treo, make sure bluetooth connectivity is turned on, then you should have a menu that allows you to find/enroll a new bluetooth device. Before you tell it to find a bluetooth device, turn on your headset. Now tell the Treo to search for devices. If it doesn't find your headset, then press and hold the button on the side and it will send out signals that your Treo will see. The Treo might give you a password code and ask you to confirm this is the device you want to synch to. Usually '0000', but in any case say yes, so long nobody else is around trying to do the same thing you are within 30'.
That should do it.
I don't think the Treo has voice recognition, which makes dialing on my Nokia a breeze, for true hands-free operation, nothing beats it.
Also note, the Treo has been know to have issues loosing bluetooth connectivity with the headset and not reconnecting with a re-boot.
so long you keep the two devices near each other, this shouldn't be a problem.

First, turn on your bluetooth on your phone.
Flip the boom mic on your H700 and hold down the call button for 5 seconds.
The indicator light should be purple. That means it is in pairing mode.
Then using your phone, attempt to connect to your H700.
It'll ask for a passkey. The default passkey is 0000.
