The flashing red light is telling you that the battery is almost drained down to capacity and that the phone must be plugged in now. oneof my old phones did that and its no help to fix it so you will have to buy a new one it means that something is wrong with the device that keeps the phone running and going right it burned out.
The red light is telling you that your phone is on. It will flash regaurdless if you have a text or not. When you charge it the light turns green.

my phone wont stay on and when it does come back on it shuts right back off. the LED light on the front keeps flashing red. ive taken the battery out and everything and nothing seems to work. help please!
