Yes you can see the video using Instant DVD recorder program. Make sure on step number 1 you choose Dazzle device and then make sure that your vhs,camcorder is connected to your dazzle properly.If ever no video and still no video and no sound please do this. Disconnect your dazzle and then connect at the back of your computer Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> right click on video capture device and uninstall it. Restart your computer. After restarting check and do it again.

On step number 1 try to click on options then video input click on the pull down arrow and then look and choose s-video click okay after ward.

What kind of video cable you used? S-video or composite? if s-video did you also connect the red and white cable? If composite did you try to used another audio cable? Can you please try to visit and check your device manager and check if there is a yellow exclamation point.

Open your Instant DVD recorder and then go ahead and select Go Direct to the advance mode. ONe window showing out there. Select your Dazzle dvc device and then click on options. Now click on video input and then click VHS input. On video input choose video composite if your video cable is yellow, red,white cable. Then click okay. Make sure that your cable is direct connect to the video out put of your camcorder. If still the same thing uninstall your video device driver. Video device is located under control panel>system>hardware>sound video and games controller then right click on pinnacle video and audio device uninstall. Restart the computer.

Click on Start>Control panel>system>hardware>device manager>sound and video games controller> look for Dazlle DVC 100 video capture device then right click on it and uninstall it. Restart your computer
