Try downloading a scanner driver from the Acer WEB site.If Acer does not have a Windows 7 driver for this model then you may be able to get one from this WEB site.

If you cannot find your model cell phone on these WEB sites, then the security code/restriction code is not available for your cell phone at this stage and hopefully will be available in the near future.

Try the Canon support WEB site. use this link and select your model scanner and the Vista version of the driver :-

you need to know the frequency you want to listen in on like local fire police and sheriff and ambulance channels you can go to bear-cat web site and they have a company there that will give you the scanner frequencies in your area code so you can store then to listen to them, you can also get the Freq. for the 1.2 million UN peace keepers in the U.S. as well. However you need to im put the frequencies manually and you need the manual so go to the web site for the uniden it's http://www.uniden.com and read how to store the freq. codes in the scanner. it will tell you how many you can store I think it's up to 10.
