If you mean how to remove the picture from a contact. goto the that contact name. Press options then select edit contact. Press the up button, the picture should highlight. Press the OK button. Scroll up to #1 which is none, the press OK. The picture should be gone

    I do NOT want to delete an assigned picture....I want to retreive it so that I can save it to my PC and it seems that nobody can help figure out a way to do that.....

yes,

using the memory card...
Go to your phone picture album, select the pictures you want to move to the memory card, then choose options and scroll down to copy/move. Then select either copy which will leave a copy in your phone and make a copy on your memory card, or move which moves them to the memory card and removes them from your phone. I just did this after seeing your post

How do i delete pending messages, I cant send pictures on the lg Lotus.
Do you mean you want to delete Picture Mail messages?

If you can't send a picture message, the lg lotus will save it and retry sending it at a later time.

If you want to delete those messages go to:

Main Menu > Messages > Picture Mail> Pending messages> Select message> Options> Delete

Picture mail requires a data plan also. :)
