My volume won't increase on my LCD tv. What can I

My volume won't increase on my LCD tv. What can I do?

  • Anonymous Apr 24, 2013

What kind of remote are you using? Fun fact, LCD tvs give a low level of IR (infrared) interference. If you are using an IR remote control it can cause it not to control certain functions or operate sluggishly, best solution is to hit up a radioshack and see if you can find an RF (radio frequency) universal remote to program to control tv functions. RF works better with LCD tvs. Hope that helps

I can help you reprogram your Logitech Harmony 520 remote for your LCD TV.

The Logitech Harmony 520 remote control is programmed through the Harmony Setup Software you can download from here.

Once installed, you will simply run the software, and select the devices you would like to control from menus. The software finds the right codes for you and loads them into your remote control.

I hope that helps.

I have an Apex LD3249 LCD TV that the volume go up to 100 on it's own and won't go down, any suggestions on what could be wrong or how to fix it?

The digital volume control section circuit has the fault. You have to check its main digital board. Might need replacement.

Hi srinivas_327,

This is common for some sansui televisions,

All you need to do is to go in the audio settings and turn "ON" the AUTO volume option .
This will help all your channels to have a similar volume , so you won't be surprised by sudden increase in volume.
