Hey,
I've been trying for days to figure this one out. I have the Belkin N1 F5D8231-4 wireless router and I have been trying to connect my xbox 360 using the xbox wireless usb adapter. I entered my WEP password and it connected to the router and passed every test up to the Xbox Live connection. I tried disabling the firewall on my router and putting the xbox in a DMZ and it still couldn't connect to xbox live.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I suggest setting this up with a WPA encryption rather than WEP encryption. This should get ya setup without a problem. Also, I've noticed live to be a bit buggy since Christmas. If you continue to have troubles after trying this call 800-4my-xbox. The recording will tell you if they are having network issues.
I bet this helps!
I have a belkin n1 and cannot connect to my xbox any help is appreciated

I figured out a temporary solution, I've got an old d-link router that says it's xbox compatible so I connected it to my belkin router though the ethernet cable. I just use the d-link for the wireless xbox connection which has been working well, a dropped connection every once in awhile, and I use the belkin for the rest of our wireless computers.
I'll try that WPA suggestion if I start to have problems with this setup. Thanks!
We have the same problem. Now, we do have multiple connections both wired and wireless, but most are dormant, and rarely being used at the same time. Generally at the same time we have one desktop, one laptop, and one xbox running through the N1, but OFTEN our xbox lags like crazy. I too have opened the dmz for that particular IP address, using WPA rather than WEP. So, no idea why this is happening. We intentionally bought a high end router hoping it could handle traffic. Any help VERY appreciated!
I also have the belkin N1 and can not connect to my xbox360. Even without security. Any help is much appreciated.
