Push the Hold switch in the direction of the arrow while pushing and holding briefly BOTH the buttons on the other side.

Charge your samsung mp3 player with a output charger you can get it from an electronics shop..

You need to go to Samsung's website and find there download page and enter your exact model number of the mp3 player (there are quite a few that start with YP-U3 so you will need to figure out its exact model number) and enter the number in the search box and click ok, once it brings you to the page for your model look for a tab that says software and click it then download the program samsung media studio and install it which should install the appropriate drivers for your mp3 player

go to my computer> properties>hardware > device manager >universal bus driver>right click on it> update driver>
then1 
1.yes this time only> next 2.choose advanced option>next 3don't search i"ll update from........>next4.click on show campatible> next> next 5. now it updated then restart you computer

The hold button is on? It's not exactly a button. It's this slide-ish thingy beside the usb thingy.

you need the install cd to install the program (Samsung Media Studio). With it, you can transfer music files into the yp-u3

my computer say when i go to connect it cannot connect i onli got it today do u know what i cud do??

I bought a Samsung YP-U3 . It had the installation cd .When plug to usb port It's charging but it shows disconnected...the samsung media studio and my pc don't recognise it, allways ask new samsung YP-U3 found. when i give the path to cd it dint get. Please help me....
