You have to first log into your account manually and by going to fingerprint application save you finger print within that application and then it will automatically get associated with you account and then only it will work

How do i adjust the contrast on my acer aspire 5738z laptop

@tonymclau330

Try the following:

For Windows Vista / 7
1. Press the Fn+Left Arrow Key for brightness down and Fn+Right Arrow Key for brightness up (the Fn key is located at the left side of the space bar)
2. If that won't work, go to Start > type Power Options and click on the Power options icon.

3. Adjust the screen brightness bar below.

I have an Acer aspire 5738Z laptop and i was wondering how to change the power command button from something to something else.

Depending on which Operating System you have but to guess windows 7/vista:

go to control panel>>> power options

then on the left hand side should have a link/button to click choose what my power button does.

Problem with Finger print

the fingerprint has its own driver on its own. this is what you do, if the computer come with any driver cd, insert it and install it from there otherwise, google it and you will get the driver from their official site. good luck

Acer Aspire 5738 laptop Finger not working on VISTA

It is Better do this : Instead of Updating the drivers, roll back the driver first and unintall the Hardware Totally from your system through the device manager. Next, restart your system, and then it prompts for 'New Hardware Found', use the Finger Printer Driver That you have, to re-install it afresh, if you dont have you can download it from here :
http://www.getpcmemory.com/drivers/download-acer-aspire-5738-5738g-5738z-notebook-windows-xp-drivers/

After that, restart your system again. It should work like that now.
