Can't get the printer to print while connected to a router

I have a Netgear Wirless G Router. My HP Officejet Pro L7780 All in One printer is connected to the router via an ethernet cable. I have the wireless radio turned off. My router sees the printer however I cannot get it to print using either a PC that is connected to the router via an ethernet cable or a laptop that is wireless.

On your computer go to devices and printers. Make sure that it is selected as the default printer.

OfficeJet Pro L7780 controls non-responsive

There is conflict between the Printer and Router you are using. The Router is freezing the printer connectivity to the network due to the Wireless radio ON option in the printer

There is a firmware update for your printer, Let your printer be connected thru USB and from this link, download and install the update for your printer and later try setting it up wireless, it should work.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-62339-2&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&os=2093&product=2512010&sw_lang=

If this step fails, the other step is, to Enter the printer IP Address manually in the printer Network menu from SEtup Option and later run the wireless setup wizard to connect it to the network.

Print from nokia E63 through WIFI

Try connecting your printer directly to the wifi router/switch in a shared network configuration. Then go to your router settings, find the local ip address add this as the 'host'. Your settings should be as follows:

Driver : HP Mobile Printing
Bearer: Socket/HP Jetdirect
Access Piont: My Home Wifi (kaba)
Host : ip address of you printer
user : Blank ( tried my windows username,no use)
port : 9100
Printer Model: Officejet Printers

You will have to reconfigure your drivers on your pc as well. Mine installed as a wireless shared printer even though the printer is not wireless but I have it connected to my wifi switch for sharing and it worked fine.

Good luck

Will not print through wi-fi connection.

If this is the L7780
I had the same problem at first
Do not follow instructions in book
use inserted large sheet with set instructions

Basically
Do not temporarily connect the device to an available port on the network hub

Hit OK button on the HP control panel
Menu comes up
Then hit plastic "Setup" button below the screen

My Linksys broadband router has a "Secure Easy Setup" button
do not push this button, only use the HP screen on the printer to finish setup

May need to disable antivirus software
and Disable "Network Magic Software" if you have the program
