Replaced cartridge and now water pressure has

Replaced cartridge in kitchen faucet and now water pressure has dropped substantially. Had strong water pressure with old cartridge, now its down to 1/2 with the new cartridge

We flushed our hot water tank and after that we have very little pressure our 122-426 b&K kitchen faucet. Changed the cartridge and cleaned the aerator

There's a little filter in faucet head and it may have got backed up with calcium from old water heater when changed.. U can just pop it out with lil knife and then run faucet with hot water to get any build up.. U can pick up more screen filters at local hardware store for cheap..

First check aerator at end of spout unscrew and clean or replace,if that dosen't work turn off water and take cartridge out of handle assembly and check for any foreign matter, clean out reinstall,take care to remember position cartridge came out.

Low water pressure

Remove the spray head and point the hose into the sink drain. Turn the faucet on. If you have good pressure, cal American Standard for a free replacement spray head.
If you still have low water pressure without the spray head, ask them for a new faucet cartridge.
After replacing the faucet cartridge, if you still have low water pressure you will need to ask for a new faucet, possibly free if yours is still under warranty.

2. Check your supply stops under the counter, check that they are both supplying full pressure.

I have moen kitchen faucet # 7560 and water pressure very low. What should I do? We check water flow in pipe it is ok. I changed cartridge as well as pipe nothing help. Please let me know. thanks

The hot water side has low water pressure. The

start by making sure the valve that supplies hot water to the sink and dish washer is fully open. If there is low hot water pressure in any of the other kitchen/bathrooms, then trace the line to see where the pressure drops. If it is only in the kitchen, it should be an old valve, (causes restriction)Good Luck.

Moen one handle kitchen faucet very low water stream

if the pressure is good with the head off then you can probably get a new head for it u shouldn't have to change the cartrige. it sounds like the head is clogged so plastic pieces in the head to help save water "water savers" it is hard to clean them i would try changing the head u should be able to find on for a moen, u buy for looks u buy it for life. take the old head with u when u go to buy a new one so they can match it up to the right one.if you can't find it and a lowes or home deptm try a plumbing supply house

Loss of pressure in kitchen faucet - Price Pfister

Your problem is a simple one.

Turn off water to faucet.
Place a towel(s) in the base of the sink(s) to prevent any parts from going down drain.
Remove the handle to the faucet. (single handle only)
If not a single handle then remove spout from faucet.
If a single handle remove cap carefully and any loose parts.
Gently turn spout side to side while lifting to remove.
You will see a hole with a very small valve where the water comes out to the spout on the base of the faucet.

Remove this valve (which is a backflow preventer) and replace.
Reassemble and test.

Problem solved.
